Clear , concise and useful. Excellent index in back. Also covers basic physiology at the beginning of each chapter. Up to date. Has got me through my pharmacology course!
Good resource
9/5/2005I am a FNP who uses this text as a resource when I need to go back to the basics of pharm and put the pieces together- this is more than a "drug guide" and less than a PDR as far as information provided.
Helpful in elucidating pharmacology
2/9/2008Book useful, chaptesr are short, begins with the pathophysiology and then extends to the pharmacology. That is a brilliant connection because as a healthcare provider that is the route of figuring out what meds to provide for the patient.
